Camera Operated in New Orleans on Travel Channel's new show "Hidden City," which follows crime writer Marcus Sakey as he explores some of the city's darker sides.  We shot in some interesting places and met with some polarizing people.  Below is a shot I took on Canal and Bourbon.

One person in particular that really struck me was Malik Rahim, co-founder of Common Ground.  When asked what his thoughts were regarding a specific murderer who killed numerous "innocent people" in the 70's, he replied (and I paraphrase):  "as long as there are kids riding around in SUV's partying, while other kids on the streets are struggling to eat, there are no innocent people."  Food for thought.
